"The color looked almost the same as…"
The color looked almost the same as it did in the photos, which I was happy about. I opened it in my kitchen near the window because that’s where the lighting is best, and it still looked really close to what I expected.

"Pretty much exactly what I wanted"
I picked up the compression shorts from Born Primitive they fit about how I was hoping they would. They’re snug enough that they stay in place when I’m lifting or going for a run, but not so tight that I’m counting the minutes until I can take them off, you know? The material feels sturdy, and they didn’t really roll up on me much either, which is usually my biggest issue with shorts like these. Compression feels just right too, supportive, but still comfortable. I’ll probably end up grabbing another pair at some point...

"Wrong size showed up"
I finally got my order after waiting, but it ended up being the wrong size. Maybe I missed something when I ordered, but I’m sure I picked the right one. Either way, it was frustrating having to deal with it after already waiting...

"Wish I’d Ordered the Right Size the First Time"
I ended up needing to swap for a different size, and my only regret is not getting it right the first time. The exchange was way easier than I expected, with quick updates and the replacement showing up faster than I thought it would. No annoying back and forth at all, which I really appreciated

"Refund was fine, but updates could be better"
I had to return something to Born Primitive because the fit just wasn’t right. I was expecting the refund to drag on forever, so I was pleasantly surprised when it came through quickly after they received the return. It wasn’t exactly instant, but it was reasonable enough. My only gripe is that the return updates could’ve been clearer, which was a little annoying, but overall the process was fine

"Quick help, no nonsense"

"Solid quality for the price"

"Cute and comfy, but the squat-proof claim is a little suspicious"
I actually really like the fit, and the fabric feels soft and nice on. The darker colors seem totally fine, but the lighter pair got a little questionable when I bent down. Not see-through in a disaster way, but enough that I started wondering if the whole “squat proof” thing is a marketing cover-up. Fine for lounging or errands, but for a serious gym day, I’d probably stick to the darker shades.

"I thought these shorts looked pretty..."
I thought these shorts looked good at first, and the fit seemed okay when I put them on, but after one workout they were just not it. The fabric felt kind of scratchy, and the waistband kept digging in, which drove me crazy. Also, I kept adjusting them the whole time, so yeah, not really comfortable at all.

"Kind of wish I’d passed on it"
It held up okay, so I can’t really say it was terrible, but it felt a bit stiff from the start. The more I used it, the more I kept thinking I probably should’ve gone with something else. Not the worst purchase, but definitely a little buyer’s remorse here.

"I was disappointed with this..."
I was disappointed with this. The print started cracking and peeling after just a few washes, even though I followed the care instructions on the tag. It’s not even about it looking brand new forever, but I expected it to hold up longer than that. Not really worth it for me.

"Quick and Easy Fix"
They got my issue sorted out really fast and I didn’t have to jump through a bunch of hoops. There was maybe a tiny bit of waiting, but nothing worth complaining about. Overall, it was a smooth experience.

"Super Comfortable and Still Holds Up"
I bought a couple things from Born Primitive, the fabric is probably my favorite part. It’s soft, but not that thin cheap-feeling soft, and it doesn’t get scratchy after wearing it for a while. I’ve washed them a few times now and they still feel pretty much the same, which I really appreciate. I mean, I was expecting them to be comfortable, but they’ve been great for the gym and also just hanging around the house.

"Surprisingly durable, even though I usually stick to another brand"
I’ll be honest, I’m loyal to my usual brand, so I wasn’t expecting much when I tried this. But after a bunch of washes, the material still feels tough and the seams are holding up just fine. Kind of makes me conflicted, because this has actually been really solid.

I ordered a pair of shorts and a tee from Born Primitive when I was in a good mood and excited to try some new workout gear. The material feels really solid, and the stitching still looks good after a few washes. No weird fading or anything so far.
The only reason I’d give it 4 stars is that the fit was a little tighter than I expected. I’m still happy with the purchase and would buy from them again, but next time I’ll definitely pay closer attention to the size chart

"Problem never really got fixed"
I had an issue with my order and honestly... it just never got sorted out. Support kept replying, but the messages were super short. Not really helpful. Nothing actually changed. Felt like I was just going in circles the whole time. I do like some of their products, which makes it more frustrating, but the way this was handled was disappointing

"I picked up a shirt from…"
I picked up a shirt from Born Primitive and have worn it for a few workouts now. So far, it’s been solid. The breathability is definitely good — I didn’t feel overly hot, even when I was sweating a lot. The fit feels nice too, kind of exactly what I was hoping for. My only small gripe is that I wish it dried just a little faster after a tougher session, but it’s not a dealbreaker or anything. Overall, I’m happy with it and I’d probably buy another one.
